Where it came from

Wayzel started as an app for one trip to Dublin. Four of us, a list of places nobody could find again, and a running argument about who had paid for what. It worked well enough for that week.

Then the same problem came back on the next trip, and the one after. So it got rebuilt properly: any city, any dates, any number of people, and a shared tab that handles the fact that you spend in one currency and think in another.

It's early

There's no user count to quote and no reviews to point at. Wayzel is new, and if you use it you're early. That's worth saying plainly rather than dressing up — a page full of invented testimonials would tell you more about me than about the product.

Who makes it

One person, in Sweden, building it with a lot of help from AI. Not a company with a support desk — if you email hello@wayzel.com, it comes to me, and I read it.

What it costs, and why

€9 per trip, paid once. No subscription, because a trip is a one-off and charging you twelve months for three weeks of use never made sense to me. The €9 covers the map lookups, the storage your photos sit on, and the fact that this has to pay for itself to keep existing.

What's next

Payments, and the iOS app on the App Store. The web app works today.
